Valeria Biryukova, a third-year student majoring in Economics at Derzhavin University, won the Student Startup competition. She received a grant for the development of the project “Universal robotic software and hardware complex for accounting and control - Discount.” The system allows continuous operational monitoring of bulk cargo traffic without human intervention.
– One of the tasks in my professional activity is accounting for materials supplied to the construction site. Due to various circumstances, the declared volume does not always coincide with the supplied volume, says Valeria Biryukova. – If 1-2 machines can cause financial losses in the amount of 500 rubles, then with a large volume of material these losses can be critical. Unfortunately, this fact is not clarified promptly – not upon acceptance of the material, but after a while. Therefore, operational accounting is necessary, which manually is very labor-intensive and requires additional effort and time. The complex will solve this problem. It quickly and without human intervention calculates the volume of material. This will be relevant not only at construction sites, but also at warehouses, quarries, elevators and other enterprises.
The result of the project will be the creation of a pilot batch of the complex for further implementation. Valeria Biryukova is already thinking about scaling the project. She will also apply for resident status at the Skolkovo Foundation and for participation in the START program from the Innovation Promotion Foundation.
