In the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, 1st year students of the Derzhavin University majoring in “Foreign Philology” Anastasia Avdeeva, Alena Vidnaya and 2nd year student majoring in “Pedagogical Education” Margarita Kalistratova are undergoing an internship in the Chinese language at Anshan Normal University. They became the first participants in academic exchange with this partner university of Derzhavin University. The internship became possible thanks to an agreement on cooperation and academic exchange of students between the two universities.
Anshan University has many years of experience in teaching Chinese to foreigners. Its division, the Institute of International Education, has been operating since 1994. The university has a strong teaching staff and unique teaching methods. The educational cluster of the university includes comfortable classrooms and classrooms for conducting classes, a comfortable dormitory, a huge library, and a modern dining room.
“Thank you, Derzhavin University, for the opportunity to have an internship at Anshan Pedagogical University: the program is intensive, you have to study a lot, but for me this is a definite plus - you can’t learn Chinese without hard work,” noted student Anastasia Avdeeva.
Training is conducted in Chinese in small groups. The program - comprehensive Chinese language, reading and writing in Chinese, listening, spoken Chinese - is designed for those who are learning Chinese from scratch.
In addition to Russian students, young people from Asia, Africa, and Europe study at Anshan Pedagogical University.
