The Derzhavin University students won the highest awards at the in-person stage of the Open Student Internet Olympiad, which took place at Tula State University and was organized by the National Foundation for the Support of Innovations in Education.
During the online selection testing, 17 students from Derzhavin University who showed the highest results in the following disciplines were invited to the final: “History of Russia”, “Sociology”, “Russian Language”, “Jurisprudence”, “Pedagogy” and “Philosophy”.
First-year student of the History program Andrey Kanishchev became the best in the History of Russia discipline and was awarded a gold medal.
– To participate, it was necessary to successfully pass the qualifying round of the Internet Olympiad. Based on its results, points were determined for moving on to the final stage, which took place in Tula. Test tasks were offered for solution – these are questions of varying levels of difficulty with one or several answer options, there were 25 of them in total, – says Andrey Kanishchev. – Participation in the Olympiad is prestigious, it gives the opportunity to test knowledge and identify your strengths, and a successful result is a powerful motivation for further study.
The following Derzhavin University students were awarded silver medals:
in Pedagogy - Tatyana Atamanova, a 3rd year student majoring in Pedagogical Education;
in Russian Language - Anna Bryleva, a 3rd year student majorinh in Pedagogical Education (two training profiles);
in Russian Language - Alexandra Bochkalova, a 3rd year student majoring in Pedagogical Education (two training profiles).
