The final of a series of business games on traditions, culture, history and modern forms of interethnic relations was held at Derzhavin University. The project has been implemented since September 2023 by the Tambov regional branch of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Union of Young Scientists” with financial support from the Government of the Tambov Region and the Presidential Grants Fund for the Development of Civil Society. 11 student teams from universities of the region took part in the qualifying games. They represented Derzhavin University, Michurinsk State Agrarian University, Tambov branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, Tambov State Technical University, Tambov branch of the Russian New University and Tambov College of Sociocultural Technologies.
The students passed the qualifying round and semi-final tests. The three best teams became finalists. These are the teams “Doctrine” and “Union of Diplomats” of Derzhavin University and “TGTUnichi” - Tambov State Technical University. The participants of the final game were greeted by Mikhail Bespalov, Chairman of the Russian Union of Young Scientists LLC, and Vladimir Kotenev, head of the project. They noted the importance of carrying out similar projects in the country and in our region in particular. One of the key areas of countering manifestations of extremism, xenophobia and various types of intolerance is their prevention. At the same time, it is especially important to carry out such work among young people, since it is the younger generation, due to a number of different factors, that is most vulnerable in terms of exposure to negative influence.
