Derzhavin University students took part in the International Youth Forum "Day of the Future", which became part of the SPIEF-2025 program.
The International Youth Economic Forum traditionally concluded the business program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. It brought together young professionals, students, representatives of public initiatives, coordinators of youth projects, entrepreneurs and scientists to discuss the prospects for the development of the country's economy, finding partners and building modern career routes.
The Derzhavin University delegation included a student of the Institute of Law and National Security Daria Shevchenko, a student of the Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship Danila Bolotkin, students of the Institute of New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Veronika Kornakova, Nikita Balyko and Polina Popova.
In the partner zones of the forum, the largest companies in the country presented their mini-laboratories of opportunities. The focus of the activity was on practice-oriented content, as well as formats aimed at creating opportunities for self-realization of young talented leaders, developing mentoring and involving young people in solving issues of the global socio-economic agenda.
– Such events as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum provide a lot of opportunities in terms of understanding your career future. We are offered something, we take part with pleasure, we try, we choose, – says Veronika Kornakova, a second-year student of the Institute of New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
One of the objectives of the Forum was to support talented youth. Interactive formats were prepared for the participants, promoting the development of new skills and ideas. Important topics of discussion were entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, education and training specialists, and the financial sector. Sessions on technological leadership, biotechnology and the space industry demonstrated how new technologies are shaping the future of young people today.
