Derzhavin University became part of the Youth Festival "Know, Love, Be Proud, Multiply!" dedicated to Youth Day. The youth town located in Olympic Park was divided into several thematic zones, where the University presented 23 sites.
Derzhavin University activists held interactive games, master classes, quizzes and lectures for Tambov residents. One of the points was the eco-volunteer zone, who shared their experience of saving the Black Sea.
- At the Festival for Youth Day, Derzhavin University shared its experience of participating in a mission to eliminate the consequences of a federal emergency in the Krasnodar Territory caused by an oil spill. We presented an exhibition of paintings that clearly depicted how our guys participate in the elimination of pollution, - comments Tigran Markaryan, head of the resource center for student volunteer initiatives "Boomerang". – We also organized an exhibition of photographs brought from Anapa. At the "Proud" site, we shared information with the participants of the event about how the volunteers' daily life went, how difficult, but very important it was. There were many questions from the audience, the guys were interested in whether there would be more missions and whether they could join. Many warm words and thanks were said to our volunteers.

– This year, Youth Day was a great success and really large-scale, - Maria Perova, a Derzhavin University student, shares her impressions. - Our university was one of the leaders of the event in terms of the number of sites, and this is great. The guys took part in university activities with pleasure. There were many of our future applicants. I hope that in the new academic year we will meet within the walls of the university!
