Students of Derzhavin University took part in the All-Russian Spartakiad in Multidisciplinary Military Sports "Conscripts: "I Serve Russia-2024/2025". The final of the competition was held in Moscow.
The goal of the Spartakiad was to implement state policy in the field of educating youth in patriotism, readiness to defend the Fatherland, promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing military-applied sports, and finding new forms of work with pre-conscription youth.
More than 700 people took part in the Spartakiad, representing teams from schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, secondary specialized and higher educational institutions, as well as military-patriotic clubs from the regions of the Russian Federation.
The participants were divided into several age groups. Derzhavin University was represented by a student team in the oldest age category – from 19 to 30 years old.
The competition program included exercises from the GTO complex: running, assembling and disassembling the AK-74 assault rifle, shooting, pull-ups on a high bar, and long jumps.
In the team competition, students from Derzhavin University showed high results and took fifth place.
