Students of the Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship of Derzhavin University, led by Dmitry Alekseenko, a teacher of the Department of Design and Fine Arts, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, visited Central Asia.
An agreement on cooperation between Derzhavin University and the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute (UFPI) was reached during the visit of Rector Pavel Moiseev to Samarkand in April 2024. This trip was the first joint event of the two universities.
The program of the visit was really extensive.It included a meeting with the UFPI management, joint master classes for students of the two universities, plein airs, walks around the sights of Samarkand and acquaintance with the nature of Uzbekistan. An exhibition of original works by Tambov designer student was also organized, which, among other things, showed works with recognizable views of Tambov. - For us, cooperation with Samarkand universities is one of the key areas of our international activities. In addition to cooperation in such areas as economics, service and tourism, medical sciences, a creative specialty - fine arts - has been added. Now we are waiting for our Uzbek partners. We will show them Tambov landscapes, - comments the rector of Derzhavin University Pavel Moiseev.
