Derzhavin University sports programming team reached the quarterfinals of the ICPC World Programming Championship. Students passed the qualifying stage and took 45th place out of 397. Team members are Alexey Emelyanov, Alexander Solodovnikov, Vladimir Anisimov. Coach – Kirill Litvinov.
“The team showed a good result,” says Aleksey Emelyanov, a student majoring in “Applied Informatics” at Derzhavin University. – Now our goal is to reach the ICPC semi-finals. To do this, you need to work out a strategy and solve nine problems in the quarterfinals, which will be held in Saratov. We will make every effort to achieve this.
ICPC is the largest and most prestigious programming championship in the world. It consists of several regional stages and a world championship. During the five-hour competition, each team must solve the largest number of programming problems.
