Olga Pritchina, Anastasia Makarova, and Alina Lisitsyna, Derzhavin University students majoring in International Relations, are doing their internship in the city of Grodno, the Republic of Belarus,. The internship is organized by the Russian Center of Science and Culture (Russian House).
Joint internship with students of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (GrSU) became possible thanks to the Memorandum of Cooperation between Derzhavin University and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Grodno signed on April 1, 2025.
– The first days in Grodno were eventful. At the Russian House we were familiarized with the work plans, there will be a lot of interesting things, – says Anastasia Makarova, a third-year student majoring in International Relations. – We have already been given a tour of the city’s sights. We visited the observation deck of the Old Castle and walked around the territory of the New Castle. The view is simply breathtaking. The most interesting thing was to hear the famous trumpeter from the Fire Tower play a melody by Belarusian composers. It’s something special. We will start our classes soon.
Over the course of two weeks, the students will get acquainted with Grodno State University, take part in training sessions, including lectures on international private law, legal regulation of Eurasian integration, the law of the EAEU, and international public law. The internship program also includes participation in the 25th International Scientific Conference of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students "Interaction of Modern Legal Systems for Sustainable Development of Society."
