On the International Day of the Russian Language, which is also the birthday of the poet Alexander Pushkin, the IV Online Festival "Such diverse A.S. Pushkin", which has already become a tradition, started at Derzhavin University. This year, the creative project was implemented under support of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The festival participants were schoolchildren and students from different countries of the world - Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, China, Serbia, India, Namibia, Togo, Turkmenistan, Indonesia and Congo.
In a special community on the social network "VKontakte", young people published original works dedicated to the great Russian poet - these are portraits of A.S. Pushkin, illustrations for his famous works, video recordings of poetry recitations, declarations of love for his work.
– These projects create a multi-faceted and many-sided portrait of the great poet, close and understandable to readers from different countries. We are glad that the modern online format of the festival evokes a lively response not only among Russian youth, but also in foreign countries, – says Olga Dronova, coordinator of the online festival, head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at Derzhavin University. – I am convinced that knowledge of the Russian language is impossible without a deep acquaintance with Russian culture and the works of A.S. Pushkin. It is gratifying to realize that every year the works of the festival participants become more creative, interesting and original.
