The delegation of Derzhavin University took part in the II International Interuniversity Educational Exhibition in Sukhum in the Republic of Abkhazia. Organizers are the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Abkhazia together with the Ministry of Education of the republic of Abkhazia. The purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate achievements in the field of higher education, attract public interest in Russian educational programs, create a unified information educational space, and familiarize school graduates with the directions and conditions of study in the Russian Federation. Representatives of 11 universities and schoolchildren from all regions of Abkhazia took part in the exhibition. Delegates of Derzhavin University presented its educational programs to high school students and conducted master classes on first aid.
Within the work of Exhibition career guidance work of Derzhavin University in schools of the Republic of Abkhazia was discussed with the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office Dmitry Fedotov. The parties considered the possibility of training medical workers with educational institutions of Abkhazia. Representatives of Derzhavin University also met with the leadership of the Education Department of the Sukhum City Administration and discussed further plans for cooperation.
