From April 17 to May 17, the anniversary XXV International Exhibition “Education and Profession 2024” is being held in nine cities of Uzbekistan. More than 100 universities from India, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan and other countries are participating in the exhibition.
The exhibition “Education and Profession” in Uzbekistan has been one of the largest demonstration platforms for the educational potential of foreign countries, including its activities aimed at promoting higher education, for 15 years. The exhibition is organized by the company “MY FAIR”. All exhibition events are supported by the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan.
Russian universities are of particular interest to applicants - 30 metropolitan and regional universities are represented at the exhibition. Derzhavin University took part in the exhibition in Samarkand, Navoi and Bukhara. The delegation included Director of the Department of International Relations and Migration Registration Elena Zueva, Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations and Migration Registration Irina Mizis, Deputy Head of the Department of International Cooperation of the Department of International Relations and Migration Registration Inna Polyakova, Professor of the Department of Service and Tourism Management Igor Kuznetsov, Associate Professor of the Department strategic economic development Vladislav Sutyagin. University representatives met with school graduates, their parents, directors of educational organizations, as well as major recruiting agencies. Students got acquainted with educational programs of Derzhavin University and received the necessary information about the conditions for admission.
About 3 thousand people visited the exhibition in Samarkand, Navoi and Bukhara. The most popular specialties among applicants were IT technology, economics, medicine, pedagogical areas, Russian and foreign philology. Currently, more than 2,000 foreign students from 56 countries are studying at Derzhavin University, of which 137 are from Uzbekistan.
