The all-Russian competition for scholarships from the Government and the President of the Russian Federation for the 2023/24 academic year has ended. Among the winners were 11 students of Derzhavin University.
The scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation was won by: student of the Faculty of Culture and Arts Daria Drutskaya (scientific supervisor - associate professor Olesya Arzamastseva), student of the Institute of Law and National Security Angelina Zhitneva (scientific supervisor - candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Roman Zelepukin), student of the Institute of Law and National Security security Polina Masyakina (scientific supervisor - Ph.D., Associate Professor Roman Zelepukin), student of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism Danila Sorokin (scientific supervisor - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Pavel Sysoev).

"The Russian Government scholarship is my first award of such a high level,” says Evgeniy Filatov, a 4th year student of the Derzhavinsky direction “Pedagogical Education”. – I have been doing research for three years now. Together with my supervisor and teachers from the Department of Linguistics and Linguodidactics, I am researching the linguodidactic potential of artificial intelligence technologies and developing methods for teaching students foreign language speech interaction, using educational practice with chatbots. I am grateful to Derzhavin University for the opportunity to develop new innovative projects in the field of education."
