Traditionally, at the All-Russian science festival NAUKA O+ at Derzhavin University, a week of presentations of student scientific clubs, centers and laboratories took place. Senior students told the new generation of students about their informal scientific associations and introduced students to the problems of their research.
“Such meetings are especially important for first-year students, as they help them decide in which areas they can pursue their interests,” says Pavel Sysoev, head of the Department for Organizing Student Research Activities and Training of Scientific Personnel. – Doing science is not only useful, but also interesting: you can gain new communication experience, broad theoretical knowledge and practical skills, participate in internships at leading universities of the country and the world, receive grants and win scientific scholarships.
Every year, a week of presentations, like other student projects to popularize science among Derzhavin students and schoolchildren in the Tambov region and develop their research competencies, is carried out by the Student Scientific Society. This time, more than 1,500 students visited the sites in their structural units.
