Representatives of Derzhavin University competed in the finals of the All-Russian "StudRussia" competition for international students in Moscow. As a result of this competition, the students were among the winners and prize-winners.
The "StudRussia" competition brings together the most talented and proactive international students from universities across the country. This year, Derzhavin students demonstrated their high level of preparation and deep integration into the Russian academic and cultural environment.
Sulemane Ibrahima Faaizah took third place in the Russian-language track of the "Russian Language and Culture" category. This result is particularly significant, as it demonstrates fluency in the language and a deep understanding of culture. She notes that in the process of preparing for the competition, she immersed herself even deeper into the Russian language and culture, discovering lots of new, interesting facts. She considers her bronze medal not only a personal victory but also the achievement of all the teachers who believed in her and supported her.
Leticia Bushek placed second in the English-language track in the "Leader of the Generation" category. She demonstrated her leadership qualities and active citizenship.
"Being a leader means not being afraid to take responsibility and lead others. Thanks to this competition, I had a chance to meet amazing students and exchange our ideas. Second place is a great incentive to move forward and prove that education in Russia opens doors to the international community of future leaders," says Leticia Bushek, a student at Derzhavin University.
Kasare Prerana received a certificate of honour for her achievements in the Russian-language track in the "Inspired by Creativity" category. The organizers noted her creative approach and innovative way of thinking. She views creativity as a bridge between cultures. Her success proves that art and genuine passion know no boundaries and can be understood in any language.
