The annual meeting between Rector Pavel Moiseev and members of the student media center "TSUNAMI | DerzhavaMedia" was held in Derzhavin University. This is the joint editorial office of DerzhavaMedia and the regional platform of the student media center "Tsunami" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia in the Tambov Region.
The regional platform unites 18 student media outlets in the region. There are 35 of them in Russia. The activities and content of the regional platforms are overseen by the Department of Information Policy and Comprehensive Security of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Our media center's information agenda includes youth and student events in the region; coverage of priority topics in science and higher education; content creation for the resources of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia; and sporting, cultural, and historical events at universities and in the region. "Themes for student families, and much more," explains Daniil Zobnin, head of the Derzhavin United Student Media Center.
The concept of the DerzhavaMedia student media center's channels informally addresses the most important topics for students: creating modern, vibrant media content dedicated to university life and key events. The media center includes the "World Without Borders" media club for international students and the region's commercial children's media schools: the First Children's Television School and the Teleshko Children's Media School.
