In the lead-up to National Unity Day, students at Derzhavin University took part in events aimed at strengthening patriotism and preserving cultural and historical traditions.
Students wove camouflage nets for soldiers. Volunteers, activists from the university club "I Am Proud of," and members of the Action of the First made over 150 trench candles for soldiers as part of the "Universities for the Front" campaign. Derzhavin University students tested their knowledge of history, national traditions, and our country's achievements in an intellectual quiz. Students also competed in traditional Russian games at the "Power of Traditions" folk sports festival. They participated in tug-of-war, sack fights, gorodki, and other relay races.
