The official delegation of Derzhavin University consisting of Elena Zueva, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Sergey Khudyakov, Director of the Department of International Relations is visiting China.
One of significant results of the trip was the conclusion of a cooperation agreement with the Shandong Minghui Education Management Group, which realizes the concept of “happy education system for life”. The subject of the agreement is to organize the enrollment of Chinese students and participate in academic exchanges. The Shandong Minhui Group of Companies includes private schools with about 25,000 Chinese students, more than 2,000 of whom study Russian.
A cooperation agreement was also signed with the Liaocheng Dongfangchu District Secondary Vocational School. This educational organization trains qualified specialists with secondary vocational education for manufacturing enterprises, as well as educators, artists, and e-commerce specialists. The school is interested in graduates continuing their education at the next levels of education. The parties agreed to begin cooperation. The first step in its implementation will be the introduction of the Russian language into the educational process.
With the support of the University’s Chinese partner, Dingcheng, informational material about Derzhavin University was recorded for the Chinese social network Wechat.
The Derzhavin delegation also carried out extensive career guidance work: more than ten presentations of the University were held in six schools and a number of colleges in the city of Liaocheng, with the participation of more than 1,000 Chinese students. The most active children received corporate souvenirs from Derzhavin University. The presentations aroused great interest among Chinese schoolchildren. Many of the young people have already begun to study Russian and want to continue their education in Russia.
