Pavel Moiseev: April 17, 1987 – November 5, 2026.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of the Rector of Derzhavin University, Pavel Moiseev. This is an irreparable loss for the entire university community.
Under the leadership of Rector Moiseev, the university developed steadily, strengthening its academic schools and creating new opportunities for students and faculty alike. His energy, integrity, and sincere dedication to his work were an inspiration to us all. Pavel Moiseev possessed a unique ability to listen to others, offer support during difficult times, and set ambitious yet attainable goals. For many, he was not merely a leader, but a mentor – someone who people turned to for advice and guidance.
We share in the grief of his family and loved ones. His memory will forever remain a part of our university’s history and live on in our hearts.
