RAS President and Academician Gennady Krasnikov awarded Pavel Moiseev, the rector of Derzhavin University, with the jubilee medal "300th Anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences." The ceremony took place at the meeting of the RAS Expert Council.
This award emphasizes the contribution of Derzhavin University's scientific schools to the development of science in our country and the focus of our scientists' research on solving fundamental and applied problems that are significant today not only for the Russian Academy of Sciences but for the entire country.
"I would like to congratulate the scientists of Derzhavin University! The results of their research teams' work not only advance fundamental science but also address practical development issues in the Tambov Region and throughout Russia," commented Pavel Moiseev.
The medal was established by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2022.
