In Derzhavin University the prevention of extremism and terrorism among foreign students was discussed. Students learned how to avoid becoming victims of criminals.
“One of the important tasks of the university is the adaptation of foreign students and their integration into Russian society,” says Yana Radyukova, vice-rector for project-based learning and additional education at Derzhavin University. – We pay great attention to the development of tolerance among students. Derzhavin University creates all conditions for a safe, comfortable, favorable stay for foreign students.
At the meeting, they discussed Russia's interest in establishing sustainable peace in the Middle East and ensuring security of all countries in this region.
The head of the educational and methodological direction of Security Department, an employee of the university Coordination Center Natalya Danova spoke about the formation of a security culture at Derzhavin University.
