Professor of Derzhavin University was Awarded a Gold Medal from the University

For outstanding services to the university, Russian philologist Anatoly Leonidovich Sharandin was awarded the gold medal of Derzhavina Tambov State University. Student of linguist professors V.G. Rudelev and S.G. Ilyenko, he himself became a prominent figure in Russian philology, chairman of the doctoral dissertation council in the specialties “Russian language” and “Russian literature”. Professor Sharandin has published over 200 scientific and educational works, including 17 monographs and textbooks. A powerful scientific school “Ecology of Language and Speech” has been formed, and dozens of candidates of science have been trained. For many years, Anatoly Leonidovich has been working at Tambov State Pedagogical Institute, Derzhavin University, and was the dean of the philological faculty.
