An advanced training course on “Pedagogical Mastery and Pedagogical Technologies” is starting at Derzhavin University. 24 members of the teaching staff of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute, including heads of departments, professors, associate professors, senior teachers and assistants in various fields of study, will hone their teaching skills under the guidance of experienced mentors from the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Technologies of Derzhavin University. The educational program includes studying the content and areas of activity of the teacher, psychological and pedagogical characteristics of participants in the educational process, modern pedagogical technologies, psychological and pedagogical foundations for the formation of professional qualities in students.
The implementation of joint activities and projects between Derzhavin University and the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute became possible after the visit of Rector Pavel Moiseev to Samarkand in April 2024, during which agreements were reached on various inter-university activities.
- We began developing our relations with art plein airs in Uzbekistan and Russia, - comments Vice-Rector for International Affairs Elena Zueva. - In October 2024, teachers and students from Tambov visited Uzbekistan, taking part in plein airs and master classes for students of the two universities. As a result, an exhibition of works by Tambov student designers was organized. In April 2025, an art plein air was held at Derzhavin University, the participants of which were students of the Department of Design and Fine Arts of TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin and the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute. The result of the cooperation was the opening of a unique traveling exhibition in the art space of Derzhavin University. And now we are welcoming our Uzbek colleagues at TSU, this time in the area of their professional retraining.
