With great pleasure I would like to congratulate all teachers and educators on Teacher’s Day! The teacher has long played a special role in our country. Talent, knowledge, dedication, patience - each of us will name these qualities of our teachers even after many years. They have largely made us who we are today and have made a huge contribution to our personal development and professional success. My special congratulations on this wonderful holiday to the entire university community of Derzhavin University. This has always been a special day for us. Derzhavin University is based on the rich pedagogical traditions of the Tambov State Pedagogical Institute, which for many decades trained teachers for our region and the whole country. We are no less proud of the bright heritage of the Tambov State Institute of Culture, which is known far beyond the region and continues today within Derzhavin University. 2023 in our country is the Year of the Teacher and Mentor. This is another evidence of increased public and government attention to this great profession. According to the “New School” project, a modern educational environment is actively developing, even in small towns and villages. Much is being done to increase the prestige of the teaching profession. It is proposed to enshrine the status of a teacher in a special law.
