The rector of Derzhavin University discussed infrastructure projects, the university's scientific and educational potential, and its family policy, which has become the university's fourth mission. - We live in an era of a shift in values, and the importance of human capital is growing, - says Pavel Moiseev. - Derzhavin University is the Ministry of Education and Science's agent for implementing family policy in higher education institutions in the Russian Federation. The University creates comfortable conditions for student families, including social support measures, mother-and-child rooms, subsidized medical care, and housing. Construction of a rental building in the regional center is nearing completion. The Galdym recreation center, where family vacations are held, has significant potential.
The meeting was attended by Diana and Dmitry Gubin, winners of the "Best Student Family of Russia" title and winners of the All-Russian Student Family Competition "Travel with Those You Love." The couple met during their school years at a health camp in Tatarstan. Five years ago, they married and founded a small studio where they shoot and edit social videos and short films, and in their free time, they actively travel. For them, traveling is not just a hobby, but a special family tradition that brings people together and strengthens emotional bonds.
- The Tambov Region is a unique region. I was struck by the architecture, especially the buildings constructed in the exquisite Art Nouveau style. The tour of Derzhavin University and its museum space was fascinating. All this is inspiring and helps us better understand the history of the region, its cultural characteristics, and historical traditions," comments Dmitry Gubin. The program for the media ambassadors of the "Student Tourism" project in the Tambov region includes excursions to iconic locations in the regional center, a visit to a tumbler doll factory in Kotovsk, a hiking trip, tourism workshops, a field lunch, and other activities.
