Acquiring knowledge means growing beyond yourself. Applying knowledge in practice means changing the world around you and your place in it.
At Derzhavin University, we do everything possible to ensure that our students and faculty can increase their knowledge and, with it, transform themselves, the Tambov Region, our Russia, and the entire world. To this end, the University is also changing both internally and externally. Knowledge is one of the most important conceptual centers of these transformations.
Tomorrow, the academic year begins. I welcome everyone to Derzhavin University and want to congratulate you. First-year students, welcome to our large university family; the most exciting things are ahead of you! To the students, be persistent in acquiring the knowledge you need, for persistence is beneficial! To the largest intellectual community in our Tambov region – the teachers of Derzhavin University—I would like to express my gratitude for your noble work and wish you wonderful students and exciting scientific and creative projects!
