Derzhavin University is the winner of the state support and development program of universities Priority 2030. Our University is the largest higher education institution in the region. It is attended by 13,500 students from 60 subjects of the Russian Federation and 57 countries of the world. More than 200 educational programs at all levels of education are available for students.
We strive to ensure that each student builds their own development trajectory, so we create a personalized educational environment in Derzhavin University. Our students participate in various forums, Olympiads, grants and competitions and always show high results.
Olympiad "I am a Professional". This year, the winner was Olga Shchukina, a student of the Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship. Seven students from the Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship, the Institute of Education and Social Sciences and the Institute of New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence became prize winners of the Olympiad.
Open International Student Internet Olympiad. The gold medal was won by Denis Gorlov, Institute of New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, and Andrey Kanishchev, Institute of Education and Social Sciences. The winners of three silver medals were students from the Institute of Education and Social Sciences, and the bronze went to the guys from the Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship.
Federal Internet Exam. For graduates of the bachelor's and specialist's degree in 2024, students of Derzhavin University received seven gold, seventeen silver and twenty-four bronze certificates.
International Student Exchange. Twelve students majoring in Philology (profile: Foreign Philology) studied subjects at Anshan Normal University and Hainan University (China) as part of an international student exchange. Polina Khmyrova, a student majoring in Linguistics, represented our university at the International Cultural and Educational Forum of Students and Youth of the BRICS Countries. Kristina Belikova, a student majoring in Linguistics, as the winner of the Masters of the Russian Language program, completed an internship in Ankara (Turkey).
Foreign Internship. Advertising and Public Relations student Elizaveta Sdobnikova won the All-Russian competition for scholarships of the President of Russia for studying abroad. In the 2024/2025 academic year, Elizaveta will go to the Belarusian State University.
Rossotrudnichestvo Competition. Yulia Kudentsova, Kristina Belikova and Marina Miroshina, students in the program "Theory and Practice of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language in Aspects of Digital Humanitarian Knowledge", became winners of the Rossotrudnichestvo competition "Masters of the Russian Language".
"Finathlon Forum". Student of the "Economic Security" program Angelina Zorina is a 2nd-degree laureate of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Finathlon Forum".
"Battle of the Titans". Students of the Institute of Education and Social Sciences became finalists of the VII All-Russian Pedagogical Games "Battle of the Titans". According to the results of the games, the "TamBest" team took 2nd place in the nomination "Film Pedagogy".
All-Russian Olympiad "Teacher is a Vocation". Associate Professor of the Department of Age and Educational Psychology Natalia Milyutina became the winner of the All-Russian Olympiad "Teacher is a Vocation".
"Best Young Teacher 20.24". Teacher of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Secondary Vocational Education Alexandra Brosalina is a laureate of the All-Russian competition of innovative educational technologies "Best Young Teacher 20.24".
Digital Department. Every student of Derzhavin University can obtain IT competencies at the Digital Department of the University. Thus, in 2024, 1114 of our graduates received a second qualification in the field of IT.
The Best Department in Russia. The Department of Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations of Derzhavin University (Head of the Department – PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Svetlana Serova) became a laureate of the rating of departments of advertising and public relations of Russian universities by the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia.
"Service Learning". Teams of schoolchildren from Secondary School No. 2 and Secondary School No. 17 of the regional center reached the final of the "Service Learning. First" championship from Tambov Oblast. Students from Derzhavin University acted as mentors for the Tambov residents. The guys presented unique projects in the field of volunteering.
