From March 29 to April 4, a delegation from Derzhavin University, led by Rector Pavel Moiseev, made an official visit to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. The delegation included Vice-Rector for International Affairs Elena Zueva and eight leading academics. The delegation visited six universities in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, located in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, and Kyzyl-Kiya.

Meetings between Pavel Moiseev and Russian diplomats and heads of Russian missions – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sergey Vakunov, Consul-Counselor of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Osh Valery Katunkin, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Ainur Samanov, and Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office Albert Zulkharneev; consultations on strategic policy issues at Derzhavin University in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan;
organization and holding of the exhibition "For the Glory of the Motherland, in the Name of Victory," aimed at developing international cultural ties and strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries based on preserving the shared historical memory of World War II.
signing of new cooperation agreements in the educational, cultural and scientific spheres with six reputable Kyrgyz higher education institutions: Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin (agreements on international cooperation and academic mobility), Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev (agreement on international cooperation), Kyrgyz-Chinese University (agreement on academic mobility and framework agreement on cooperation), Osh State University (agreement on academic mobility), Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov (cooperation agreement), Kyrgyz State National University named after J. Balasygan (agreement on international cooperation): advanced training for Kyrgyz colleagues; publications and research projects; joint master's degrees - development of network educational programs with two degrees; Higher education pedagogy – continuing education programs for faculty at partner universities; academic mobility – student and faculty exchanges in face-to-face and remote formats (guest lectures, online courses, internships).

Lectures and master classes on economics, design, Russian literature, history, pedagogy and psychology, defectology, and international relations;
The intellectual game "Battle of the Erudites" was held at the Russian House in Osh.
Participation in the 18th exhibition of Russian universities in Kyrgyzstan, "Education in Russia 2026." The exhibition is one of the largest showcases of Russia's educational potential. Its activities are aimed at promoting higher education, increasing the visibility of higher education institutions, and attracting applicants to study at Russian universities. Representatives of Derzhavin University met with interested high school graduates, their parents, and directors of educational institutions. Participants learned about Derzhavin University's educational programs and received necessary information about admission requirements, including those under the Russian Government quota and the program for compatriots. According to the organizers, over 3,500 people visited the exhibition.

Therefore, I am very optimistic about the prospects of the signed agreements on cooperation in education and science, as well as academic exchanges for students and faculty. Derzhavin University has concluded these agreements with the country's leading universities," noted Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Derzhavin University. "Another impression from Kyrgyzstan is the Russian language. It is everywhere, or almost everywhere. Young people speak it, because our countries and peoples are closely connected. Derzhavin University's goal is to contribute to these ties." We are committed to the "public diplomacy university" strategy, including creating opportunities for economic cooperation between the Tambov Region and Kyrgyzstan.
