A Chinese delegation consisting of school directors visited Derzhavin University: Zhao Lidong, director of Huacha Secondary School, Li Guohao, director of Liaocheng Secondary School No. 1, Li Haiqing, deputy director of Liaocheng Secondary School No. 1, as well as heads of the university's partner company, Russian-Asian Higher Education and Ecotourism Hub LLC, Feng Baojie and Sergey Ryabko. The purpose of the visit was to discuss cooperation between Derzhavin University and Chinese schools in the field of education. The program of the visit included a campus tour of Derzhavin. The Institute of Medicine and Health Preservation was the first location to visit. The guests also visited the Ice Rink “Derzhavinsky”, Sports Palace “Antey”, a sports arena and a football field. The board meeting ended at the Stromov Center. Representatives of Chinese schools were impressed by the level of development of Derzhavin university infrastructure and the diversity of the fields of study.
The outcome of the visit is the agreement on recruiting Chinese applicants to Pre-university department, as well as organization of summer and winter schools for Chinese schoolchildren in 2025.
