Scientists from Derzhavin University won the competition of small individual scientific groups of the Russian Science Foundation. There are six projects in total. This is the “Method of comparison in the study of operator and functional inclusions, control and optimization problems” under the guidance of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Evgeniy Zhukovsky, “Legal co-creation of public authorities and civil society as a form of implementation of socio-political and law-forming activity (general theoretical and practice-oriented aspects) under the guidance of Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Vasily Trofimov, “History of Russia in the spatial dimension: experience of theoretical and historiographic generalization” under the guidance of Doctor of History, Associate Professor Nina Tsintsadze. Derzhavin University scientists will also work on the project “Social media as a channel for broadcasting images of the future of Russia,” led by Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Dmitry Zhukov, “Personnel policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire in relation to governors and vice-governors of European Russia in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries,” director – candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Sergei Lyamin. Under the leadership of Ph.D., Associate Professor Alexei Topilsky, the team of Derzhavin University is implementing the project “Socio-ecological problems of economic modernization of large farms in agricultural regions in the late 19th - early 20th centuries (based on the latifundia of the Russian Empire and Austria-Hungary).” Each project will receive funding - 1.5 million per year - to conduct fundamental and exploratory scientific research in 2024-2025.
