Based on the results of the competitive selection, Anshan Normal University granted the students the right to free education at the university during the fall semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. After successfully completing the course and passing the language exam in China in December last year, Alena and Anastasia received certificates of the appropriate level of knowledge of the Chinese language.
The internship was an unforgettable experience for the girls, filled with exciting events and new discoveries. For several months, the students of Derzhavin University not only studied hard, but also actively participated in university sports competitions and cultural sessions. These events helped them better understand the values and traditions of China, as well as establish communications with Chinese students.
– One of the most interesting aspects of the internship is the opportunity to communicate with people from different countries of the world. Anshan Normal University has created a unique atmosphere for exchanging experiences and cultural characteristics. We shared our traditions and learned about the lives of other peoples, which enriched our experience, – say Alena Vidnaya and Anastasia Avdeeva. – During the holidays, we were able to visit large Chinese cities such as Beijing and Dalian. The trips allowed us to get acquainted with the features of ancient Chinese culture and architecture, as well as try the famous national cuisine of China. Despite the language barrier, we were able to successfully overcome it, thanks to constant practice and the support of teachers. This allowed us not only to pass the exams, but also to freely communicate with local residents.
The internship at Anshan Normal University became an important stage in the students' education and personal growth. The Derzhavin University students acquired new knowledge, made friends, got acquainted with the traditions of Chinese culture, and learned to understand and appreciate the diversity of the world.
