In accordance with the decision of the Tambov City Duma and the resolution of the head of the municipality – the Chairman of the Tambov City Duma, 24 more individuals were inducted into the Honor Roll of the Tambov Urban District in 2026 for achieving high levels of economic, social, and cultural development in Tambov.

Among those inducted into the Honor Roll are current Derzhavin University staff members:

Antonina Semyonovna Shcherbak – Doctor of Philology, Professor in the Department of Russian Language, Russian and Foreign Literature, Faculty of History, Political Science, and Philology;

Alexander Yuryevich Keino – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor in the Department of Coaching Organization, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports.
