The award ceremony was held at the Ministry of Sports of the Tambov Region.
Badges of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” (GTO) were awarded to students of the educational departments of Derzhavin. Thus, the organizers assessed the high level of sports training and successful passing of norms.
The Derzhavin University students have several years of intense training in various sports behind them: basketball, football, track and field, rhythmic gymnastics, and oriental martial arts.
The gold badges and certificates were presented and handed by the Minister of Sports of the Tambov Region, Pavel Gritskov.
