Derzhavin University hosted an intellectual game for students called "Statistics Quiz". It was dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Tambovstat and the 30th anniversary of economic education in Tambov region. The goal of the game is to popularize statistical and economic knowledge in an accessible form for a wide range of people, including the student community.
Five teams from Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin, Tambov State Technical University, Russian New University, Michurinsk State Agrarian University, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration took part in the quiz.
Vladimir Rukin, head of Tambovstat, Natalya Cheremisina, member of the Association of Statisticians and Tatyana Kozhevnikova, director of the Institute of Creative Industries, Economics and Entrepreneurship of Derzhavin University addressed the participants with welcoming speeches.
According to the students, the statistics quiz was not only a fun but also educational experience for all participants.
