The World Youth Sambo Championship ended in Bishkek. Russian sambo wrestlers won 29 medals out of 37. Athletes from 28 countries took part in the tournament. Among them are students of Derzhavin University, who brought two gold medals to the national team. Valery Gerasimenko became the best in the weight category up to 98 kg. Rustam Baytuev won in the weight category up to 79 kg.
