On International Student Day, students of Derzhavin University gave a concert at the exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh. The concert included the best dance and musical concerted items from Russian and foreign students.
It is worth noting that each region was able to show visitors the soul of its place, its small Motherland.
At the site of the Tambov region, foreign university students spoke about their national customs, traditions, folk art and costumes. They also held master classes on painting mehendi with henna, weaving traditional African jewelry, and creating traditional Indian patterns from colored sand called rangoli. Together with the guests, they made cards for International Students Day in Hindi and Chinese, created Chinese lanterns.
