In Derzhavin University, the World Festival of Youth and Students and the grant competition of Rosmolodezh were presented to university activists. The head of the Derzhavin Youth Policy and Educational Work Department, Anna Konyashkina, shared her impressions of participation in the festival in 2017. The head of the Resource Center for the Development of Volunteerism “Boomerang” Tigran Markaryan explained to students how to qualify for the festival’s volunteer corps. Registration for the festival is open until 4 November for participants, and until 1 December for volunteers. Federal and university experts of the Rosmolodezh grant competition Elena Malyshkina, Anatoly Pouesov and Natalya Kotova presented the “Rosmolodezh.Grants” competition. Participants and experts discussed common mistakes in writing projects. Derzhavin University is a regular winner of the All-Russian competition of youth projects among educational organizations of higher education. During 2023-2024 academic year, the university is implementing eight projects that have received grant support totaling more than 12 million rubles.
