Tambov tourist hackathon “Derzhava TUR”, held at Stromov Center, ended at Derzhavin University. During two days teams of students from different areas of training created a technical solution to develop a prototype of a mobile application “DerzhavaTUR”. The guys interacted with scientists, talented developers, successful businessmen and generators of ideas. In addition, the hackathon allowed participants to take steps to build an individual educational trajectory and strengthen their personal portfolio.
Conducting a hackathon in a student environment is the best way to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during training in practice, to test new technologies on their projects. The hackathon program was organized in such a way that it met the needs of the younger generation and assumed both the development and testing of a mobile application. The participants themselves acted as consumers of the created product - the tourist mobile application "DerzhavaTUR".
The winner of the hackathon was recognized as the team that developed the Tamvkus prototype. This solution scored the highest number of points as a result of the jury's evaluation. The jury consisted of university employees, specialists of specialized organizations, representatives of executive bodies of state power, and the business community. Based on the results of testing the mobile application, the participants together with the experts will give feedback on the effectiveness of the solution.
