Derzhavin University continues to strengthen its international ties by welcoming students from universities in Belarus, China, and Uzbekistan. Concurrently, as part of its academic mobility programs, Derzhavin students will study at partner universities in neighboring and distant countries.
The spring internship cycle at Derzhavin TSU opened with the arrival of students from Masherov Vitebsk State University (VSU). Over the course of a month, students from the Republic of Belarus will immerse themselves in the educational process at the Russian university, strengthening their knowledge and professional skills in the fields of Design and Special Education. The practical portion of the internship will take place at the university's academic departments – the Institute of Pedagogy and the Institute of Economics, Information Technology, and Creative Industries.
Students from Derzhavin University—Ksenia Popova, Victoria Solodovnikova, Natalia Chebotareva, Victoria Aleksandrova, and Elizaveta Pankova—will soon be traveling to the Art and Graphics Department of VSU named after P.M. Masherov for a month-long internship.
The partnership between TSU named after G.R.Derzhavin and VSU named after P.M. Masherov was established under the Cooperation Agreement of 2022 and the Academic Mobility Agreement of 2025. The Russian students will study the Design and Pedagogical Education programs, with a specialization in Fine Arts and Computer Graphics.
Projects such as these play a key role in developing intercultural dialogue and fostering international ties between universities, opening new horizons for mutual understanding and fruitful exchange of experience.
—The interaction with VSU students was rich and fruitful. "We discussed the educational process and adaptation, the locations of the academic buildings, the lecture and practical class schedules, and recommended interesting locations to visit," says Elizaveta Pankova, a student at Derzhavin University. "The internship will be a completely new experience for me, as I've never lived separately from my family before. I'm particularly excited about the trip to Belarus—it's a chance to gain valuable professional experience, unforgettable emotions, and cultural impressions."
