Rector of Derzhavin University Pavel Moiseev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gabonese Republic to the Russian Federation, Ms. Joanna Rose Mamyaka. The participants of the meeting were Advisor for Economic and Commercial Issues of the Embassy of the Gabonese Republic in Russia Dian-Priska Baini Akimova, Vice-Rector for Project-Based Learning and Additional Education of Derzhavin University Yana Radyukova, Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations and Migration Registration of Derzhavin University Irina Mizis. The main topic of discussion was attracting students from Gabon to the University. Today, 41 students from Gabon are studying at Derzhavin University. Most of Gabonese students are majoring in Medicine. Mrs. Joanna Rose Mamyaka noted the importance of high-quality training of doctors for the health care system of the Gabonese Republic and expressed a desire to work together to select applicants for further study at the University. Mrs. Joanna Rose Mamyaka also met with students from Gabon.
