The All-Russian Spartakiad in military-sports all-round competition "Conscripts: "I Serve Russia-2024/2025"" will be held in Moscow. Its purpose is to implement state policy which consists in the formation with young people such qualities as citizenship, patriotism, readiness to defend the Fatherland, promoting a healthy lifestyle, developing military-applied sports, and finding new forms of work with pre-conscription youth. Among the contenders for victory will be the team of Derzhavin University. It consists of six students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports and one student from the Faculty of Health Preservation, Rehabilitation and Active Longevity.
– The Spartakiad is attended by teams of secondary, secondary specialized and higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation, – comments Artem Savelyev, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. – The participants are divided into four age groups. We are sending a student team to the competition in the oldest – youth – group (19 – 30 years old). We have passed two qualifying stages. And now, on March 28 – 31, 2025, the final awaits us at the Izmailovo Hotel Complex. The competition program will include a 60-meter run, assembly and disassembly, as well as loading the AK-74 machine gun magazine, shooting, pull-ups, and standing long jumps. We are really counting on a successful performance, we are actively training.
