The First International Summer University is a new project at Derzhavin University. Its goal is to expand the horizons of international cooperation and strengthen existing business relationships with foreign partners.
For this purpose, the Department of International Relations has planned various events that will be closely concentrated on the Summer University sites until July 2. These are open days for international partners from India, the People’s Republic of China, Uzbekistan, negotiations with colleagues on strategic issues of cooperation in the field of export of educational services of Derzhavin University and the development of the export potential of the Tambov region in the field of science and education. Also, at the request of colleagues, advanced training courses and an international scientific and practical conference “Problems of sustainable development of socio-economic systems” will take place. Participants of the International Summer University are representatives of the Indian company DelMos, the Hainan Vocational Institute of Economics and Trade from the People's Republic of China, the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service (Uzbekistan), LLC Russian-Asian Hub of Higher Education and Ecotourism, ANO Institute of Scientific communications.
The International Summer University will end with a solemn graduation ceremony for students from the Republic of Uzbekistan who have successfully completed the double degree program in Economics and Tourism, implemented by Derzhavin University together with the Samarkand State Institute of Economics and Service.
