The First International Summer University Project was completed at Derzhavin University. Its goal is to expand the horizons of international cooperation, strengthen existing business relationships with foreign partners and search for new ones.
During the project various events s with existing and new foreign partners were held at Derzhavin University. More than 70 people took part in the summer project from India, China, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq and regions of Russia.
According to the results of the project, a number of agreements were concluded with foreign partners in the field of science and education.
A cooperation agreement was concluded with the Russian-Asian Hub of Higher Education and Ecotourism to organize the recruitment of students from China. Collaboration with this company began at the Russian-Chinese conference, which was held in Moscow in April.
Derzhavin University has great opportunities to increase the number of Indian students majoring in General Medicine in the upcoming academic year thanks to the agreement with LLC “DelMos”. It is also planned to enroll students in non-medical fields of study from 2025.
The road map for the project “Derzhavin University Week in Samarkand” has been expanded with the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service. Thus, the implementation of the joint educational programs “Tourism” and “Enterprise Economics” will continue. It is also planned to implement new joint educational programs “Electronic Commerce” and “Artificial Intelligence”. A double degree master's program will be implemented from 2025.
The winners of the International Olympiad in Economics and the International Derzhavin Olympiad in Russian Language, will have the opportunity to receive free training at Derzhavin University. Students of the Samarkand Institute will have the opportunity to study online technological entrepreneurship and participate in startup competitions.
The task has been set to create a Russian-Uzbek center for training, retraining and advanced training of employees of government agencies and the business community in the field of management.
In August, Derzhavin University will open a Russian language summer school for teachers from Uzbekistan.
A cooperation agreement was concluded with the Autonomous non-profit organization “Institute of Scientific Communications” to promote scientific publications by scientists of Derzhavin University.
Negotiations were held with the head of the RKP Holding group of companies (Iraq) on the issue of promoting cooperation between Derzhavin University and universities from Iraq.
Online negotiations were held with Changchun University on the implementation of the joint educational program “Russian language in the field of tourism”, as well as on expanding learning opportunities for Chinese students.
A face-to-face working meeting was held with the delegation of the Hainan Vocational Institute of Economics and Trade. As a result, agreements were reached on the joint training of Chinese students in the areas of training “Philology”, “Tourism”, “Economics”.
