The International thematic School "Keep Knowledge" was held at Derzhavin University. The participants were students of the 11th grades of Sukhum (Republic of Abkhazia), specialized classes of Derzhavin University and high school students of the "Ecotech School" of Kotovsk.
The program included familiarization with the infrastructure and training areas of Derzhavin University, psychological trainings, master classes in Russian icon painting, chemistry and robotics, a training seminar on personal planning and time management. Schoolchildren also got acquainted with the history of Tambov.
– In modern conditions, Derzhavin University is looking for new ways to expand international relations, – says Acting Rector of Derzhavin University Pavel Moiseev. – The school "Keep knowledge" has become another step towards strengthening the university's position in the educational space of the near abroad. The implementation of such projects gives students the opportunity to learn more about our University and make their choice in favor of Derzhavin University in the future.
The participants of the School attended master classes at the "Ecotech School" in Kotovsk. At a meeting with the head of Kotovsk, schoolchildren discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of education. The head of the city presented everyone with a tumbler with the logo of the School, made at the factory "Kotovsky tumblers".
– We were met and accompanied by reliable partners from Derzhavin University, – says Nina Storozhenko, deputy director of the part-time school of Sukhum. – The children are very happy, they liked everything.
