The main Christmas Tree of the university was ceremoniously opened in Derzhavin University. According to tradition, the participants of the celebration were pupils of social institutions of the region and students of the university.
Derzhavin University students prepared for children an interactive entertainment program with competitions and winter fun "Visiting the Derzhavin Christmas Tree". The main guests of the holiday were Father Frost and Snow Maiden.
– The traditional Derzhavin Christmas Tree opens a series of New Year events for students, employees and residents of the region. The Derzhavin Christmas Tree first appeared on campus in 2015. This year, an extensive program is planned: festive performances in the Educational Theater, Christmas trees for foreign students, mass skating, interactive games and entertainment for the entire university community. For the first time this year, the Derzhavin Christmas Trees charity event will be launched. Students and teachers of the university will fulfill the wishes of children from boarding schools and family support centers in the Tambov Region, – comments Pavel Moiseev, Rector of Derzhavin University. – December is expected to be bright and eventful!
