Medical Institute of the Derzhavin University hosted the intra-university Olympiad in dentistry “Wise Tooth” for the second time. Participants were 3rd and 4th year students of the specialty “Dentistry”.
The theoretical stage took place in the format of a quiz game with questions and situational tasks on therapeutic and surgical dentistry, oral anatomy, and radiography. At the practical stage, representatives of each team had to demonstrate the skills of preparing cavities of the first class according to Black and applying a filling from a chemical composite. The winners of the Olympiad received prizes and the opportunity to participate free of charge in the All-Russian Congress of the Association of Young Dentists.
