The qualifying festival of the Central South-West League of KVN took place at Derzhavin University. The participants and spectators were greeted by the rector of the Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin Pavel Moiseev.
- It is great that the game of the qualifying festival of the South-West KVN League is taking place at our University. It was on April Fool's Day that we opened this festival of humor and good mood, which gave us a lot of positive emotions. After all, good humor is a sign of intelligence, - noted Rector Pavel Moiseev.
Previously, the Central South-West KVN League was held in Kursk. The decision to hold the SWL season in Tambov was made following a three-way meeting between the rector of Derzhavin University Pavel Moiseev, the head of Kotovsk Alexey Plakhotnikov and the director of the SWL KVN Vladimir Tararykin at the end of February.
Teams from Tambov, Kotovsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Orel, Moscow, Penza and others performed on the stage of the Derzhavin University Educational Theatre.
For four days, the KVN players worked with experienced editors: champions of the KVN Major League Vladimir Tararykin (team "Prima", Kursk) and Pavel Malakhov (team "Doctor House", Mogilev, Belarus), as well as with the league director Vadim Nikitin (team "Player", Tambov).
Based on the results of the game, the following teams will advance to the next season: "Black &White" (Kotovsk), "Vertical" (TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin), "On the Sofa" (Tula), "Tolik eshche budet" (LGTU, Lipetsk), "Tasty" (Penza), "B" (Novonikolskoye village), " Team of Taganrog Institute named after A.P. Chekhov" (Taganrog), "SKHItls" (Voronezh), "Diafilmy" (Penza), "Victory Square" (Smolensk), "Traffic Lights" (Orel), "5 D" (Penza), "Team of Guyes" (Tambov), "Vidnoye City Team" (Vidnoye).
The evening ended with a performance by the team - the champion of the KVN Major League 2022 - "Doctor Hauss" from Mogilev, Republic of Belarus.
