The final, eighth, "University Shift" has ended in Derzhavin University. It was attended by 42 schoolchildren aged 14 to 17, residing in the Tula region.
The shifts at Derzhavin University took place from June to August, each lasting 10 days. In total, over the summer, the University hosted more than 1,000 schoolchildren from Lugansk People’s Republic, Donbass, Belgorod and Tula regions.
Derzhavin University prepared a unified program for all participants, which helped the children get acquainted with all the structural divisions of the University and decide on their future profession.
The extracurricular module included excursions to cultural and entertainment facilities of the Tambov region, Spartakiads, quizzes, personal growth trainings, networking, and dialogues on equal terms with famous Russian civil servants.
"University Shifts" is a unified educational program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Enlightenment and the Russian Movement of Children and Youth for the Children of Donbass. The project is being implemented for the second year in a row.
