Second-year students from Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, Madinabonu Abdujililov, Zukhra Adilova, Sugdiyona Omonova, and Gulsanam Burieva, are interning at Derzhavin University as part of their academic mobility program in the "Pedagogical Education, Design and Fine Arts" major. The internship was made possible thanks to a cooperation agreement signed in April 2023 and the fruitful academic exchange between the universities.
At Samara State Pedagogical Institute, the students are second-year students majoring in "Fine Arts and Engineering Graphics." At Derzhavin University, they will be immersed in the creative atmosphere of the Institute of Economics, Information Technology, and Creative Industries, and will participate in lectures and master classes on academic art, academic painting, raster graphics technology, and more. The internship will last one month.
"We can't wait to discover Derzhavin University diverse infrastructure and immerse ourselves in its student life," says Samara State Pedagogical Institute (SSP) student Zukhra Adilova. "We plan to learn about the rich traditions of Russian culture and explore the unique history of the Tambov region. This experience will enrich our knowledge of the Russian language and undoubtedly broaden our horizons, allowing us to see the world in a new way."
The students are accompanied by Hamza Zhurayev, Head of the Department of Fine Arts and Technological Education at SSP. His visit to Tambov last year, when he and a group of Samarkand students participated in a joint international art plein air at Derzhavin University and SSP, has already laid the foundation for a successful collaboration.
"Our universities are bound by strong bonds of friendship and professional collaboration, particularly in the field of design. Such internships play a key role in developing intercultural dialogue and strengthening international ties between our universities." This also creates a unified educational space, notes Hamza Zhuraev.
